Club Medici jumped at the opportunity to update the website of legendary (dare we say infamous) publishing house Spartan Press.
The recipient of Club Medici’s first major arts grant, Spartan Press remains Middle-America’s most prolific publisher of avant-garde poetry, creative nonfiction, essay and fiction. Since its founding in 1998, Spartan and its imprints have published over 500 books, including many Missouri and Kansas poet laureates and award-winning writers.
Go on — take her for a spin! New Releases, Authors, Publications, a little history… These are some of the grittiest writers tapping on keys. Hell, buy a book! We all need a good read!
